Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect your first name, last name, and email address. Journal entries you save are stored in our database. Entries posted to the public feed are visible to other users but are anonymous — no personally identifiable information is attached to public posts.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the journaling service.
- To send you journal reminders if you opt in to the premium feature.
- To process subscription payments through Stripe.
- To enforce our content moderation policies on the public feed.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use Row Level Security to ensure only you can read your private journal entries. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data.
5. Email Communications
If you enable email reminders, we will send scheduled emails to the address on file. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also disable reminders in Settings at any time.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage to save your preferences (dark mode, font size, etc.) and authentication session tokens. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
- Access and export your data at any time from Settings.
- Delete your account and all associated data from Settings.
- Opt out of email reminders at any time.
8. Children's Privacy
Mindful Wellfare is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
